Who We Are
Our Mission
Reduce Gun Violence recidivism via daily survival support mobile apps for formerly Incarcerated Individuals.
Our Story
Philly Unlimited was built upon 10 years of work by board advisor and app visionary Keith Scott and CEO Matt Williams. They developed an app that connects individuals reentering society to the resources they need to build a new, stable life, including employment, access to pay, food, clothing, work equipment, and financial advice. Mr. Scott started this project in response to the question, 'Why do people keep ending up back in jail?' The solution is to provide resources and opportunities.
Philly Unlimited’s Approach
The Philly Unlimited mobile app, built on Unlimited Errands, is scheduled for deployment in the fall of 2023.
Training for workforce readiness and employer site evaluations to open up work opportunities.
Small group semester-based classes and one-on-one mentoring.
Art, movement, and therapy sessions to gain confidence and skills in communication, calming and coping strategies, and crisis intervention.
Internships aimed at learning and applying data science to help address regional violence issues.
